ellebogen op tafel elbows on the table
Leading up to the turn of the year I started a new series. It's all about memories of the time I spend
at the kitchen table in my parental house. Mom often cooked chinese dinners, which I disliked very much.
So I ended up spending many evenings staring at the plates and dishes, hoping they all would magically disappear.
They didn't.
Like most of my artwork, these are cross-over analoge/digital collages.
The forms are a bit geometrical with a sense of odd perspective.
The faded colours and blurred shapes add to the aspect of reminisce.
The pieces hint to those lomographic polaroids back in the 70's and 80's the era of my youth.
